Who am I? (Curriculum Vitae, Resume, last updated February 26, 2008)

Welcome to my homepage. I recently passed my Ph.D. oral defense on May 12, 2008, and will graduate in June 2008 from the Computer Science Option of Caltech. My advisor is Prof. Abu-Mostafa and I am a member of his Learning Systems Group. Being experienced in programming, I am interested in various areas of Computer Science, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Fractal Geometry, Digital Coding, etc. I also hold special interest in Mathematics and its cooperation with Computer Science. My research now focus mainly on Machine Learning.

I do lots of reading in my leisure time, and novels about Taiwanese culture are the ones I like best. Other activities that I often do include surfing on the Internet, going to the movies, and listening to music. I really enjoy the music from Disney, and some Broadway Musicals, such as Les Miserables, Hairspray, Wicked, and Miss Saigon.
